Fire rated double leaf cold storage doors description

Testing according to CE EN 1634-1 Fire Protection Standard

When carrying out the fire resistance tests of the doors, the fire resistant doors include the entire door system including door leaf, frame and all accessories. The installation of the door is also part of this system.

Fire rated hinged doors specifications

Door leaf thickness

Door leaf thickness 120mm providing insulation for low temperature freezer and positive temperature chiller doors.

Galvanized sheet

Galvanized sheet is used with external foodsafe antibacterial plastisol coating (250ìm).

Materials

Inside the door high tech materials are combined with non flammable polyurethane according to DIN 4102-1.

Fire endurance

Non – flammable materials providing fire endurance up to 60min (door endured fire test for 78min).

Thermal insulation

For thermal insulation, perimetrical on the door leaf special insulating gaskets are used. At the bottom of the door sweep gasket is used.

Heating elements

Heating elements are used inside the frame and inside the threshold in chiller and freezer door.

Frame

Stainless steel 304 frame insulated with high-tech materials, (sheet metal thickness 1,5mm).

Hinges

Heavy duty hinges (set of three pieces) used with self- closing mechanism.

Security exit handle

Fire rated exit door handle with or without key lock hole.

Closer

Heavy duty fire tested door closer.

Panic bar

Fire rated Panic Bar is mounted on the push side of the door with Steel latches.

AMP's fire rated hinged inox cold room door is made of German origin INOX 304 sheet metal (plain or circular pattern), which prevents corrosion and rust. It is installed with a stainless steel corner case, internally reinforced with durable heavy-duty PVC with a modern German design and high mechanical strength. It is also easy to clean as it does not catch bacteria, fungus or mold. It can be disinfected with water, soap or disinfectants without damaging the surface or its appearance. It is resistant to hard use , chemicals and impacts, so it has a long service life without requiring much maintenance.
